Pub consultancy is slightly different and is broken down into ‘tenure’ and ‘tie’.
Tenure is split into the following:
Freehold: the business operator owns the building
Leasehold: the business operator leases the building
Tenanted: the business operator leases the building
Private: the business operator leases the building from a private owner
Finally, there is ‘Tie’. This is as follows:
Tied: where the owner is legally bound to buy supplies from a specified supplier
‘Free of Tie’’: the owner can purchase supplies where they choose

Structuring Wages & Costs
How you structure pay and staff wages along with other costs will be a very important factor to keep on top off.
Working conditions, universal minimum payment requirements are always changing which can lead to reduced overall profits. How you structure and improve this area will be an important area to improve on. We look at the following:
Rent & Rates
Negotiable but usually fixed for long periods. If too high can simply make the business irretrievably unviable.
Utilities
Always need controlling.
